S K Das is a renowned architect, urbanist and thought leader. He is the head of S.K. Das Associated Architects, a practice that operates from Delhi. Mr. Das has done many urban projects in India and internationally including master plan for township, large scale urban design, housing and mixed use projects, low income and affordable housing and urban renewal redevelopments. He has a wide and varied international experience as a practitioner, consultant and a teacher. He has been awarded Eisenhower Fellowship, an US State Department exchange visitor and Chettle Fellowship at University of Sydney. In leadership position he is a past Board Member of Habitat International Coalition and Vice President of International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISoCaRP).

Mr. Das was a senior staff member of Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) and a visiting professor at University of Leuven. He has worked with many multilateral organizations, national governments in Asia, NGOs and community groups. His works have received many awards, published and exhibited widely. He is the founder of Habitat UTlab (Urban Transformation Lab) which is real and virtual global urban practice that brings together in a network a large number of professionals across the world to share ideas and further the thinking on city and urbanism.
