As you are aware, reckless  development in Gurgaon is reducing the city to an urban mess. Corrective efforts (if any) are falling too short and too little. Its citizens have a right to clean air and water, to be able to commute hassle-free and conserve the city’s vital bio-resources.

Come what may, sustainability has to be the central mantra for all future development of the city. This means reworking the city’s Master Plans, conserving its vital resources and preserving the Green Belt. This also means developing decentralised waste management systems, reliable public transport system, encouraging non-motorised transport, and renewable energy sources like Solar Energy...  

Dr Praveen Kumar, Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner of Gurgaon will deliver the key note address. The workshop will have two Sessions A) Gurgaon’s Conundrum: Civic and Infrastructure Challenges B) Options and Solutions for a Sustainable Future. It will conclude with High Tea.

Join us for a workshop on May 10 at 5 pm at the Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, Sector 51.  The workshop will have participation from Gurgaon authorities including HUDA, MCG; Corporates, Citizen Groups, RWAs, Citizen Volunteers, and the Media.
