Bidita Shakya

I am an architect as well as urban designer and conservation expert . I completed my Bachelors in Architecture from Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, Nepal in A.D. and complete my Masters of Science in Urban design and Conservation from Khwopa Engineering College Bhakyapur, Nepal in A.D. I have been practicing architecture since A.D., as soon as I was certified as Bachelor in Architecture. I have been engaged in designing residences, apartments, resorts, hotels, banks, hospitals, schools etc. since then. Some of the important projects I have been involved are Kalash Apartment Tahachal, Bagmati riverside corridor development project, (furniture, landscape and interior) designing for Signature Apartments, Teku, Factory buildings at Bara which were the projects done by myself practicing as a fresh architect around A.D. at Astra Development Network a re known consultancy in Kathmandu. I have also practiced under architect Sworup Gurung Koney in his firm Arniko Designers and Planners for 8 years starting from till .
