8 Corner Utilization and decoration ideasBy Smitha Jose

Those corners are not to be cornered!!
Corners are what define and limit our space. Then why is it that we think the least about decorating them? A well decorated corner can give depth to a room that is devoid of any giant furniture or decor. Moreover, corners are 'open - hidden space' for storage- a space which is so clearly visible yet often unidentified as a storage space.
Below are some tried, untried, conventional and not so conventional ideas to highlight the corners of your room.
Corners for photos:
The white wall corner would have been a boring scene but for the photo frames dramatically hung at different heights. The non -uniform shapes and sizes of the frames is a fun way to attract viewers to each photo.
Happiness is just around the corner when you sit with your family, warming yourselves in those chilly evenings and sharing a good laugh.
Coffee for two:
A corner turns into a private space with a coffee table. To highlight the area, the corners can be panelled and enriched with photo frames.
Whether its indoors or outdoors, plants are definitely the cheapest and smartest way to decorate the corners and bring in the warmth of fresh green.
Corner space for aquarium:
How about an aquarium occupying the corners? A giant aquarium placed at the corner will save the space and at the same time brings life to the corners.
A bookshelf can be another fantastic idea to save the corners from giving a deserted look. A book shelf never has to be filled with books alone. There are plenty of other things that would love to get a floor of its own.
Bean bag and reading space:
Never like to read a novel in the noise or at the study table? Here's the solution. Place a bean bag at the corners (better, if adjacent to a window),fix a lamp and there you go !
Your comfy and cool reading space is calling you!
Staircase corners - Mirror:
Hang a mirror. Have a look at your self while on the run. Corner spaces at the staircase can be wonderfully utilised by things we need the most - maybe a mirror or a wall clock.
