Decor Tips Tweet 0 Comment(s)
SUMMERS!! A perfect time to decorate your house. These warm outdoors and hot breeze will surely make your home an optimal place to relax and enjoy. Make it a summer beach house with some casual interiors and cool colors over those stuffy formal ones as it is the most playful season. Decorate your indoor and outdoor to embrace the endless summer sun. Here are some ways to get your space ready for warmer temperature:-
Intricate Windows Treatment:
Start with treating your windows and bring the summer vibes in your home. Keep it bright and let the natural light come in as the days are too long. Use short curtains made up of soft and natural fabrics, tie them to the corner and they will give an elegant look to your windows.
Save and Outfit your Space:
Take the full advantage of this summer, and change the setting but not the furniture which is not going to cost you anything. If possible, turn your furniture toward windows and let them shine in the natural light. Use printed bright colored cushions on them and that will compliment them well. You can also outfit your outdoor spaces with decorative accents to entertain and relax outside in the evenings.
Smells of the Season:
Give cheerful look to your rooms, decorate them with seasonal flowers keep them in vases on wardrobe fronts, tables, dining. You can also fill and keep the bowls with scented potpourri and light a few scented candles to make it more expressive.
Whip out Something Lighter:
Clear your beds by putting away those high piled pillows and blankets that makes you feel cozy and warm in the winters. Make your beds and sofas lighter and give them a summer touch. Use some floral-print bed sheets and covers of natural fabric like cotton.
Go for Unique Colors:
Enlighten the walls with some amazing texture or choose some bright colors like joyful reds, blues, whites or yellows. You can color all the walls of a room with white and pick one wall to be an accent with a texture using bright shades.
Decorate the change in your place. Grow some natural plants in pots near your windows or in balcony. Lighten up your rooms naturally but not with lamps and chandeliers. Replace the dark and old rugs with some hand knotted or rope rugs in bright colors, this will bring a summer touch to the floor.
