The site is heavily contoured on the edge of a lake, with sweeping views of the hill range. The client, Venketeshwara Realty named this project The Ridges. We prototyped 40 villas on the property. They follow a simple language of architecture and are either step up or step down villas, following the terrain. The construction and carpentry objects were executed under the administration of the office itself and suiting the clients needs, allowing the exploration of cladding elements, working tones and textures of the materials used, releasing plans and volumes, a composition made of floor, wall and ceiling. The entire house embraces technology, to enhance its environmental performance, and all active systems run on automation making the use of lighting and appliances efficient. The project invited manufacturers of one of a kind products from domestic and international sectors.
