LOCATION CHATTERPUR-NEW DELHI SIZE 2.5 ACRES- BUILT UP 1000 SQMT CONCEPT A project on the periphery of Delhi with a simple brief to accommodate all modern luxuries of a modern home. A large house with 5 bedrooms, a separate living /dining, study, lounge bar and a large family room. Well appointed landscaped gardens and a green drive way achieved by using grass pavers. A very straight line /contemporary architecture language was achieved by using natural materials and juxtaposition of surfaces and areas in the plan and elevation. The theme was for the house to revolve around the swimming pool which was place on the central axis on the longer side of the house around which most of the areas open. To enjoy the openness of the site all the three main bedrooms are on the ground floor and the two guest bedrooms have been taken to the frst floor connected thru the double height lobby. Use of extensive glass to feel connected with the outside.
