Designing a home is not easy but when one has to create three individual homes within a single house, the challenge is greatly multiplied. Each floor is spread over an area of 3500 sq ft, making this a significantly large project since the total area of the house amounts to approximately 17,500 sq ft. The challenging task was to avoid the temptation of repetition since every floor occupied by each of the brother has its own living and dining room and three bedrooms per floor. The first floor is a common area largely occupied by a banquet hall equipped with separate kitchen. It also consists of an office, a guest room, utility area and an elevator lobby which is all shared by the three families. There are three different looks on the other three floors but they all have the same space allocation. For instance, the 2nd floor living room is marked by travertine marble on the wall. On the 3rd floor living room grid formation is created with onyx. Finally the 4th floor has a textured wall, which acts as a backdrop to the accessories. Moreover, in the bedrooms, a contrast has been created by having three simple walls materials and one which is embellished. Different materials have been used on the walls, such as onyx, veneer, wallpaper and texturing. These materials have been given an unusual treatment by using them over a large expanse so that the beauty of the material itself stands out. The 5th floor consists of the terrace area which is occupied by home theater and a bar and the remaining area is landscaped and easy chairs are placed making it an ideal place for relaxation.
