Simple, uncomplicated cubic volumes characterize the design of this residence. Designed to fit the urban environment, the cubic mass with huge openings differs to stand out in perspective amidst the surrounding. Sharp, clean lines dominate the interior with the help of subtle colours. Greeted by the double height living space at the first floor level, the cut outs look up to the upper floors, creating a vertical connection between all the floors. The cutouts are also staggered in position so as to diminish the elongated look. The bedrooms, a small gym and a library are located on the upper two floors whereas the formal living & dining areas along with the guest room and kitchen occupy the first floor. The articulately designed terrace forms a lovely getaway for relaxation and rooftop parties. Honest, unpretentious and yet stylish, the design speaks only through the use of volumetric mass, crisp lines and subtle colours, with simplicity being the overriding characteristic.
