While it's sometimes thought that "modern" interiors are cold and minimalist, in today's homes, contemporary interiors are comfortable and welcoming without being cluttered and dark. designs that are modern and current with the styles of the moment are contemporary style. By focusing on color, space, and shape, contemporary interiors are sleek and fresh. Furniture pieces should make a bold statement but at the same time be simple and uncluttered, without curves or decoration. Smooth, clean, geometric shapes are essential. This is a 3bhk apartment that had a very simple brief, contemporary, functional .. with vibrant splashes of colour yet we wanted the home to be warm and welcoming. There was a need of a lot of storage area but we did not want to clutter the space, we have utilised all the available spaces with clever use of subtle classy finishes. the daughters room is bright and beautiful, just right for a young persons space, the glass wardrobe is very modern i design and the frosting makes it very functional too, the wall art makes the room interactive and creates a conversation starter. The study table has also been fitted in within the space without compromising on the spaciousness. As we enter the home, we wanted to create a makeshift foyer, this section has a calming Mediterranean feel with the royal blue wall and white cabinets along with floral motif .. we created a seating area as well , this is a design addition that gives a fantastic introduction to the home interior. The living room creates a beautiful ambiance of light and warmth with the usage of beige textures and additional grooves to create depth and bring in a design element. Usage of floral fabric, glass cabinets, hexagonal cubes all add to the design elements. The puja unit is a fantastic work of art where we have tried to get the balance between the budget and the design.. the translucent acrylic sheet and the motif creates a beautiful design feature. The kitchen here is a bit different than what we at cbds generally work with , its got duco paint finish and a high gloss texture makes it look bright and big.
