The Linear Expanse House, Residential-Single family dwelling

The plot is very linear having a width of just 30feet. The Challenge was to create a spacious looking house with such restricted width. The concept evolved has resulted in a bright and spacious house which defies the constraints posed by the plot. Exterior view of residence has been designed in contemporary style in white finish with combination of wood and Glass canopy at the entrance which gives shade to the car porch and garden area and also acts as an attractive feature to the exterior look of the house. The residence which is located in the heart of the the city has been designed with large windows and a long linear courtyard along the entire length of the house for a bright and ventilated feel. The interiors of the house follows contemporary look with simple and sleek furnitures. Furnishings and lightings are specifically selected and customised to match the light and simple colour scheme of the house.Wall hangings and curios were hand picked to add focal points in necessary areas of the house.
