Bhandup residence -2, Residential-Apartments

While designing the space for this residence the focus was on keeping minimalistic furniture along with urban chic designing to provide modern look to the house. Every room was done in a different color scheme using different materials to add element and areas of interest. Living Room was designed using a combination of veneer, wood and copper coloured acrylic panels. Given the requirement, that they entertain guests on a regular basis, an exclusive four-piece dismantleable centre table was designed using the combination of wood and copper. That along with the nest of tables ensured that there is enough furniture around the guests to keep their wine glasses around. To balance the look, a simplified sofa seating was provided with background of a textured painted wall. Both tv unit and dining table had backlit laser cut panels with leds. The Look was complete by use of lights in mother of pearl and glass flooring in the balcony with LED backlights. The master room layout was designed with focus on keeping a lot of movement space. Glass effect was created using sandwiched glass with basic laminates and the look was enhanced with sophisticated embroidered blinds and rustic cane lighting. The parent's room needed a sober touch. Steel inlay strips along with glass provided the much needed minimalistic look. Tv unit with glass towers on the both side gave complete visibility. A small temple was also designed in the room which has hand painted "Shlokas" done with the pious "Swastik" sign. The focus on Study was to keep it warm and bright and hence Red was the choice of colour. Customised antique rustic handles were added to mahogany tone of the study table. Glass pendant lights were used and blinds were a mixture of all earth colours with the common theme of Brick colour. To ensure that the room can serve the purpose of a multi-activity room, a futon was placed with can serve both as seating and bed. The entrance lobby was done in layered textured panel with step pattern shoe cabinet and a small idol of Buddha was placed at the entrance for positivity and harmonious vibes all through the house.
