Vastu was the keyword for the design of this site and hence lot of restrictions were already in place. Keeping in mind that Delhi favours huge ceilings, the false ceiling were planned to be nowhere below 10'6". The client wanted lot of airy spacious feeling. Wall to wall wardrobes in every room ensured no further need to give smaller storages. Light colour schemes were incorporated in all rooms except for the youngster's room where laser cut corian was inlaid in zebrano veneer. Different veneers were used in all rooms to accentuate Italian marble flooring. Another focal area was the open kitchen connected to the living room which was done in bright red, yellow and green- the only place where dark colours where added. Air circulation was taken care of by cross French windows and Spanish tiles added zing to all bathrooms. Mandir was specially designed and called from Jaipur in makrana white marble
