MUMBAI , Maharashtra, India-400020 Office Work, Commercial-Office Complex
Working within the confines of a 300 square foot outline, the program for an architect’s office demanded a seating for six people, a model making corner, a separate pantry and toilet, along with the unique requirement of at least 175 running feet of storage area. The minimal design utilizes the reflective properties of black mirror to allow for the illusion of a larger space, as well as its physical presence to serve as the primary partitioning element within the office separating the main office space, from the service areas. Employing a stark black and white palette, programmed spaces are packed to line the perimeter of the volume, with the central space being open to multiple uses.
