CONCEPT
The southeast corner has been taken as the focal point as it is the intersection of the road and sea view. This corner has been treated as a seperate entity, rotating and extruding it giving it a dynamic angle from different perspectives and hence the facade imbibes and inviting characetr. The building owes its form to the south east corner The terrace serves as a vantage point to view the sea which is a result of vaastu dictating that the highest point of a residence should be in its south west corner
DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
LIGHTING: ROTATING LOUVRES Interplay of light and shadows by louvres which can be adjusted with preference to light, sea and breeze. The dynamic nature of the shadows cast by sunlight gives immense potential to light up a space using shades and shadows.
VISUAL CONNECTIVITY: Elements such as glass, french doors and windows are installed keeping in mind to visually connect all spaces. This gives a sense of connect between all members in the family in the household.
LANDSCAPING: They are placed in such a way that they are visible from almost all habitable spaces.Landscape elements and green spaces have been incorporated on each level to compliment the interior views and to screen the surrounding air.
