A house with interwoven spaces & landscaped areas, Residential-Single family dwelling

A linear single story house designed for a industrialist at the outskirts of Baroda city in the 70,000 S.ft plot. The brief given to design a contemporary simple house for three generations sharing the same facilities without compromising the individuality. The linear ground floor structure with the single spine connecting the bed rooms & commonly shared drawing ,dining & kitchen areas opened up into the lush green lawn & carefully landscaped out door area are the key features. The sky light cutouts in the main passage & the main courtyard which is wrapped around with living & bed rooms keeps the entire house well lit & ventilated.The home theater & the spa & swimming pool & party are are placed in the lower ground which can be access from the main entry.
