New Delhi, Delhi, India-110017 Borges Head Office, India, Commercial-Office Complex
Project Status: CompletedWe've all heard about the fact that an office space reflects one's own persona of who you are. Keeping on these lines, maintaining the excellent reputation of Borges for serving the best Mediterranean flavors on our tables, is reflected in our design approach towards the office renovation. The aim was to have a subtle yet playful environment for the workspace to be lively and productive.
The challenge was to address the issue of irregular floor space, successfully adding a sense of uniformity and order. Thus the design concept was maneuvered by incorporating a series of meticulous refurbishment to space.
Material palette exuberates elegance and simplicity at its best. The element of uniformity has been achieved by providing white beech laminates on workstations as well as on wall partitions. The subtle interiors embrace liveliness and excitement through the use of nautical red laminates on workstations and green acrylic jaalis on wall partitions.
The kitchen area has a confluence of red lacquered glass perfectly complementing the beige laminate. The combination of two soothing hues makes it a pleasant sight to adore and enjoy our meals. While hues like red add vibrancy, and green tranquility to space, the beige works as a perfect backdrop providing a soothing and neutralizing effect.
Further, the furniture has been designed to complement this space. Custom stylized piece of furniture such as the multi-layered conference table and the reception desk count for eye-catching works of design within this project. The transition space or the passage beside conference rooms have the intervention of planters orderly placed on custom-designed storage. Carefully designed table with its base at angles inclined towards centre maximises leg space and at the same time layers of indirect running light at the base enhances the environment during presentations.
Bringing the outdoors within the workspace always acts as a crucial factor in developing a healthy work environment which is done by incorporating greens in design. Effective lighting also plays a vital role in transforming the space and enhancing the interiors.
Special/Important rooms such as conference room, MD's room are paved with a different flooring to highlight the essence of these spaces as compared to general office.
A playful palette of hues, along with jaalis and linear spaces make for the perfect office space that would aid in stimulating creativity and a productive environment!
