Sunanda House - Raajagiriya, Residential-Single family dwelling

The elevated site with a 30 foot drop at one end, was molded to form a tiered structure of infinite spaces opening out to gardens and views of the Diyawanna lake in the distance. A series of levels using a minimum foot print whilst maximizing views, forms this T shaped building of steel, timber and cut cement. Rather than projecting an image, the house consists of comfortable spaces, a haven within the busy schedule of urban life.
